South By Southwest's Native American Southwestern jewelry from artist in the Navajo Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico.

Gallup is located amid the red rock mesas of western New Mexico. The discovery of coal and the arrival of the railroad in 1881 transformed this stage coach stop to a cosmopolitan center. Coal mining ended in the mid of the 20th century, but the city is still a major trading area for the Navajo people and the Zuni Pueblo people to the south. Since 1922, the city has hosted the Inter-Tribal Ceremonials which brings in thousands of Navaho, Zuni Pueblo, Cheyenne, Hopi, and other native people for dances, craft shows, and a rodeo. The Ceremonials are held in August at Red Rock State Park.

Due to our jewelry being handmade no two pieces are ever the same.
